Christian Dailly
Did you know he has a first class honours degree in sports science?
He doesn't seem to have much contact with West Ham these days. Could be he doesn't like the way GSB run the club!

He was a good servant to the club,no doubt about that.
Let's hear your stories about him.

Scored a goal which went in off his bollocks

I'm not having that Chinkey. He's got a lovely looking wife with four kids and is a principled human being, unlike your wife.

A bit like Johnny Pantsill, neither of them were very good but we loved them anyway. How did they do that? It's a bit of a mystery.

I think its because we value Talent, Passion and work ethic for the badge above all else, but if we cant have all three from players we actually value the passion and work ethic more.

3:06 marathon runner, see him at Raphaels parkrun few months back, ran the first lap pacing someone in a puffa jacket and adidas shelltoe trainers

Re: Christian Dailly
Mentioned this before but if you look at that goal against Ipswich:
1. It seems to hit him mid-abdomen rather than in the crotch
2. It was straight at the keeper but takes a big deflection off the defender's heel.

Not that any of that matters.

I met him in the Claret Lounge at the Man Utd game last year. He chatted to me for five minutes, had a photo and told me how much he loved West Ham. Also told me how much he loved Upton Park.

Genuinely nice fella.

Used to turn up with crates of beer for the staff for Christmas. He’d hand deliver them as well, nice bloke apparently.

Met him a couple of times a right down to earth honest guy... had a few shockers for us but some also some excellent games... I liked him...

Ha ha ha... anyone at that Arsenal game at the Emirates... boxing day or new year?? I think his name was sung the whole 90 mins... absolute mental... Oh we lost 0-3 and never had a shot the whole game... but we sung Jonny pantsil's name the whole 90 mins

I remember midway through being tonked 6-0 at Old Trafford, he tried to rally the troops.

No-one took a blind bit of notice, but at least he tried.

He works as an ambassador for the club.

I was there that day geep…. That was the day that I lost all respect for Trevor Sinclair… threw in the towel on the pitch… that was after Joe Cole running around like a demented loon for 90 mins chasing shadows… no matter how crap Dailly and co were at the back at least they never quit on the field like Sincs did that day

Re: Christian Dailly
By all accounts a lovely human being.

That said, I question what first class degree in sport science counts for. He is a personal trainer to someone close to me and some of the atrocities I've been sent by video (allowing rounding the back, allowing knees to buckle, not actually being behind to spot on PBs) make me cringe. He's leading at least 1 person to injury.

I haven't dared to ask how much he charges, but it's absolutely too much.

Re: Christian Dailly
He took on a Community Project to clear Green Street of land mines.

Since he did that there has not been one instance of injury/fatality due to land mines in the whole Borough.

He's the King of our Hearts.
